Went on a Thursday night and the vibe was very classy and relaxed. Our bartender served us fantastic coctails/shots and great conversation. I look forward to going back when live music is playing

Food and drink whose flavor lacks description, only feeling. I got the BLT, with the fried green tomato on a brioche bun, and at some point it stopped tasting like a picnic staple and started making me think of a warm pillow on a frozen winter night. The Ruby Dee mocktail was like a nostalgic velvet pillow. Growing up the child of a bartender in a Grand Rapids pub, the atmosphere takes me back to my childhood- but, improved. Refined. Inexpensive tastes for those with expensive taste. Genuinely, I cried when I experienced it all. Oh, it certainly helps when it's all catered by some of the most wonderfully skilled and charismatic staff, no, people, that I have ever met.

It was our first visit tonight. I wish I would have remembered to take a picture of the peach cobbler cornbread dessert! It was amazing!! They were pretty busy so service was a little slow but the drinks and Musical atmosphere was worth it!

This is a small lounge with delicious signature drinks. Definitely try the My Perrogative. It's 2 drinks in one. With a Lechee cocktail and champagne that you can mix to taste. The food consists of appetizers and desserts, mostly made with cornbread, and hummus. They are very good dishes, but they are missing full entrees on the menu, so don't go without dinner first. The lack of a full menu was my only reason for the moderate food score. Prepare for longer than average wait times for both food or drink. It would be nice if the wait staff could check back more frequently. They are very nice to the patrons, but prepare for the gratuity to be automatically added to your bill. I am fine with this, I just would like there to be more servers to decrease wait time. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a dim jazz/ soul club. They have live music on Friday nights, and vary bands along with what appears to be a house band that is very talented, and plays with different singers fronted. They need a stage, as it is difficult to watch the band stationed on the floor. It would be nice if they could manage a little more room for dancing, as the small space gets packed.
